2006 Chardonnay This Chardonnay was fermented and aged in French oak barrels using the French "sur lie" method. It has fruit flavors, a soft buttery feel and mild oak overtones. $16
Gewürztraminer This is a versatile, crisp wine with tropical fruit characteristics and just 2% residual sugar. It goes well with fruit, cheese, cheesecake, stir fry, Thai food or by itself while sitting in the shade on a hot sunny day. $14
Vidal Blanc (Gold metal winner :: NC State Fair Wine Competition) This semi-sweet white wine is light and fruity. It is a very “food friendly” wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes but also hits the spot all by itself.$10.50
South Mountain Scarlet (Bronze metal winner :: NC State Fair Wine Competition) This dry red is a blend of Merlot, Malbec, Petite Verdot and Cabernet Franc. It pairs well with barbeque and many red meat dishes.$12
Chambourcin (Silver metal winner :: NC State Fair Wine Competition) This wine has a beautiful deep red color with a great aroma. It has a good tannin/acid balance with a nice long finish. You could “lay this one down” for 6 months to 5 years.$20
Blackberry (Bronze metal winner :: NC State Fair Wine Competition) This fruit wine is a unique combination that starts sweet and finishes tart. It was made from 100% fresh local blackberries--not from concentrate! This is not just a dessert wine. It pairs well with foods such as turkey and pork tenderloin.$18
Plus, we are about to bottle new wines including a new Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, a Rose and Niagara!
